This Ghu Sha tool is made with great quality. It is hard and firm, but in the same time it feels smooth on your skin. The grip is easy to hold and its shape works on most body parts. There are so many angles and functions you can apply to. I love that its made of ceramic which a better choice vs plastic or wood.
this is still my current go-to gua sha because i just like how the ceramic feels on my skin and something about metal doesn't feel as "organic" to me.the shape is great and that wider curve really hugs my cheeks. it's very ergonomic.but there is a chip in the inside part where my hands holds it that is rough. it makes me feel that this is very prone to breakage because the packaging seemed good. i don't like feeling that roughness when trying to use it because it feels less luxurious.
I have perpetually tense muscles, especially my IT bands and more knots than I can count in my neck and shoulder blades. I've seen these types of ceramic massage tools before but kind of thought they were a gimmick. However I'm very impressed with this one so far. The shape and design gives a lot of options as to how to use this to release tension and pressure in muscles. While sometimes these types of massage tools really seem to be designed to be used on someone else as a masseuse, I'm finding this one to be easy to use on myself. The little pokey part that sticks out digs perfectly into some of my neck and shoulder tension and with a little lotion it moves around easily. It fits perfectly in my hand, (I have a medium sized female hand. I think it might be a little small of a grip for someone with a much larger hand.) I haven't figured out how to use it on my face yet but it did come with a little instruction booklet and of course there are tons of resources on the internet. While the current price point of $29 might be a little high for some people, this item is good quality ceramic and unique design so if you are in the market for this kind of tool it's worth it.
